Sunday Funday

The last three Sundays have been so fun. My brother Nic and I are the only ones out of our siblings that do not work on Sundays and live in the same town. So, we have gone over to my parents for breakfast the last couple of weeks, This Sunday, I ran errands with him and my little nephew Sully then spent the day at his house. His wife got off early so when she got home, she showed me how to paint mason jars. :) Yes, I crafted.

Morning Chats

{Pillow talk I had with Addi today}

Mom: "Do you want to go to Robin's today?' {Robin owns the daycare she goes to.}
Addi: "No, I wanna go work."
Mom: "Work? You don't want to go play with your friends?"
Addi: "No, I wanna go with Mommy."

Made my heart melt.

Sunday Funday

Nic and I have Sunday's off so the past two sundays, Nic, Sully, Addi & I have gone to Papa & Mam'as house for breakfast. Sully is 3 months & Addi is 2 1/2 years. We are just missing cousins Simone and Grace. Love our family time!

Christmas Day 2011

Here is Christmas day at our home and Mam'as house. For whatever reason, she wanted to be a pirate, hence the bandana. {Pictures not in order.}

Holiday Season 2011

She was just starting to understand how Santa worked this year. She knew He always had candy canes so no matter where we would go, if Santa asked her what she wanted, she would say, "Candy cane."

01*08*2012

Pushing her own cart & eating a cookie at the same time.

On Sundays, we don't believe in getting out of our jammies...even if we do go into public.

I tucked in Addi tonight. I gave her a kiss & snuck out of her room. Went to go wash my face & go to get in bed & this little stinker was waiting for me in my bed.

"I wanna play kit-sin"

Addi got a kitchen & vacuum for Christmas & she is obsessed! Every evening, we get home & have dinner (in mommy's kitchen). Than Addi takes a tubby, she watches a show, plays with her toys, we have quiet time & read a book & and than it is bedtime! We are up & out of the door by 7:15am so bedtime is getting earlier & earlier. Two nights ago it was at 9:30pm. Last night it was at 9:00pm. And tonight I am shooting for 8:30pm. (wish me luck!)

Creating Memories

This year, I am putting 'Be a better blogger' on the top of my goal's list. Blogs are a way for me to create a history, for myself & for Addi. Because of the amazing technology we have, I am able to take & upload pictures right from my phone (not the best camara but it is better than not posting at all). So I am giving myself the challange to post a picture on this blog, daily. What a great way to create memories of things I would probably forget.

No More Picnics

For Christmas this year, my mom & dad gave us this bistro table for our home. It is perfect! Addi and I have lived in '1192' for a year & a half & we have not had a table.
One: We have not had room.
Two: I am always spending money on other things.
So, for the past year, Addi & I have been having picnics in the living room. Addi has learned to help mom spread out the blanket on the floor & we would just sit on our bums & eat. Odviously I wanted a table but I also knew we were creating memories. Our lives are growing each day. We started out living in one bedroom, in the basement of my parents home. Our 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom condo is slowly but surely getting more furniture & decor.
During the holidays, my mom & I were shopping & we came across this table. The sides fold down and it came with two chairs. It was small & cute & just what we needed. My mom surpised us Christmas morning & I was so excited to see it fit perfectly!
This picture is our first meal we ate at the table. Eat up!

2011... you wore us out.

Not only is the above picture adorable but it explains how the holidays made me (and obviously Addi) feel. It truly is the most wonderful time of the year but it got to me this year. Work, shopping, decorating, cooking, cleaning, family get-togethers, parties, family, friends, eating, wrapping, giving, getting, laughing, crying, driving, walking, checking off lists, writing more lists, losing lists... is there time to sleep?

2011 was not the best blogging year for me but I will put it on top of my New Year Resolution goals for 2012. I don't scrapbook and I never will and with this whole digital world, I am bound to lose alot of pictures along the way, so I hope this blogs serve as a way for me to journal Addi & I's adventures.

I will catch up more later but here are the latest stats:

Addi (2 1/2)

Potty trained (hallelujah!), does not use her Paci, sleeps in her own bed, is so damn independent (she is her mother's daughter), loves watching Cailou, Kipper, Tangled, Lion King & anything cartoon or animated, is all about pretend, copies everything momma does and is the sweetest, kindest, most adorable girl I know.

Mommy (27 1/2)

Working as the Athletic Manager at Riverside Country Club, loving living in Country Woods, dating Soakai for 6 months, loves watching the Food Network Channel & reality tv (I am a Kardashian sucker), loves taking hot baths at night to relax and eats too much chocolate.

Cheers to a new year! 2012
